2021 CAMP DATES: JUNE 13-17, JUNE 20-24, JUNE 27-JULY 1
For 2021 we are limiting to 90 campers per session. If full, please join the waitlist as we may get cancellations and/or may get an opportunity to increase camp numbers. If we are able to increase camp numbers, we would know by April 15 and would contact those on waitlist in the order received.
Overnight & Commuter Camps
Our overnight/commuter camp is a great opportunity for you to use our facilities and spend time with our coaching staff. You will have the chance to receive instruction from a variety of coaches and current collegiate swimmers. This camp is perfect for year-round swimmers, summer league swimmers or those that just love to swim! The commuter option is ideal for those in the Raleigh, Cary, Durham, or Chapel Hill, North Carolina areas and the overnight option is great for swimmers from anywhere!
For Summer 2021 we are offering 2 options for each of our camps: TECHNIQUE or TRAINING.
Those who choose the TECHNIQUE option will have a greater focus on stroke improvements and drill work. They will swim twice each day with a 30-minute daily dryland. This option is open to any age (9-18) and is our most popular option.
Those who choose the TRAINING option will have more yardage and intensity incorporated into their swim and dryland sessions but will still also have some technique focus to correct stroke imperfections. Campers will swim 2-3 times each day with a 45-minute daily dryland. These swimmers MUST be 12 or older by the start of camp (no exceptions). Swimmers in the Training group should have experience training doubles and have a regular dryland routine.
Both options are designed for swimmers that have aspirations of improving their strokes and times for high school, club, and/or college swimming. In addition, both options will cover all 4 strokes, starts, turns, sprint vs. distance training methods, race strategies, and mental preparation. For safety reasons, this camp requires that each swimmer be able to swim all four competitive strokes legally and registration is limited to ages 9-18.
You may select the track during registration, but final group placements will be done after an initial pool workout. To maximize a swimmer’s benefits from camp, we may move some campers from Training to Technique per our discretion. We will not move campers from Technique to Training.
